Happy New Year!
2019 is the year of resolutions for me. Some are pretty big resolutions and others are pretty silly, but I’ve decided that my 2019 mentality is to do the things I’ve always wanted to do. Therefore, pretty much everything is a resolution.
Resolution #1: to be more active on my blog. My goal is to make 30 (yes, thirty) posts by the end of the semester, which is about twice a week. I’ve been plotting out all sorts of ideas for these posts, and if I meet my goal, I’m going to upgrade my blog service to include more features, including video posts.
Resolution #2: I made was to finish And the Band Played On, that book I’ve been reading for TWO YEARS. I’m happy to say that I finished the book! Look out for my review and reflection, I’ve learned a lot from what feels like the longest book ever.
Resolution #3: I really want to learn how to moonwalk. It seems random, but let’s face it, nothing is better than seeing someone nail the moonwalk when everyone is dancing. Also, Shakira hips. Like wow, what a cool party trick that would be.
Resolution #4: get an internship (or at least try). I have been working on my summer 2019 internship search since November, and I’m happy to say I’ve submitted some applications. All I can do is my best, so if nothing works out, that’s fine. At least I can say I tried.
Resolution #5: a year in quotes log. I started this last year, but I only made it 19 days. I will be making a post about those 19 quotes, because with my “elephant memory,” reading those quotes actually gives me a pretty good idea of what I did. Even if it was just watch Netflix all day. I think it’s something fun, and I hope to get 365 quotes from 2019.
Resolution #6: update my Pinterest board that 16 people follow. I tweeted about this, but I made a board back in high school labeled “Man Crush Monday” that is shockingly not about Chris Evans but all pictures of Andrew Garfield. Like yeah, I think he’s cute but I don’t know what incentivized me to make the board. At any rate, 16 people follow it and I now have a sense of duty to those 16 people to continue to add pictures of the 21st century’s second live-action Spider-Man actor to their Pinterest feeds. To those 16 followers: you’re welcome.
Resolution #7: Apply for Law School! Now that I’ve decided on what comes after TCU and I’ve started studying for the LSAT, I am committed to applying come the fall. Where I’m applying? I don’t know, so if you have a highly recommended school, please feel free to let me know!
Hope everyone is having a great start to 2019 and to all my fellow students, hope the semester is going well! I am hoping that by Tuesday I can upload my post reflecting on the craziness of Fall semester 2019!
Loved the Blog . Always look forward to reading them. Especially interested in Resolution 3 and 4…….. Keep me posted.

Wow Kendall great blog. And I love the diversity of your New Year’s resolutions. I’ve got a look up Shakira hips! BTW what kind of law do you want to practice? You know your cousin Paul Spackman is an attorney. he got his law degree at American University. We attended his graduation and Justice Sandra Day O’Connor was the keynote speaker. So cool
