The Entertainment of Children

So lately, in procrastination of actually doing anything productive, I’ve been watching a lot of videos on Facebook and Instagram of gender reveals because they’re so popular right now. And my favorite part is when kids cry because they don’t approve of the gender of their future sibling.

I remember when Garrett was born, my parents told me and Katelyn that we now had a baby brother. It’s a short memory because I had just turned three and most people say you don’t remember anything before the age of 5, but if you know me, you know that I have the memory capabilities of the gods (450+ numbers of pi anyone?). I just remember BAWLING because I didn’t get a little sister. As I leave adolescence, I’m more than happy that I don’t have a little sister because I know I’m a brat to Katelyn, and I personally am glad I don’t have to deal with that.

So, for all those looking for something to do to procrastinate whatever is looming in your near future, here’s a list of funny videos you should watch:

This summer, I have plans to be a preschool counselor again, which is always fun since little kids and I are entertained by the same things; we run on the same wavelength. And as bad as it might be, real-life moments like in the video above make me laugh, too. But what also is so funny is just the things kids say. I had so many moments last summer where the kiddos I worked with just made me crack up, so here are some videos of that too:

Hope the procrastination makes you laugh!
